Richard “Rick” Bonifacino, age 57, of Kennett Square, PA, died Sunday March 6, 2016 at his home.

Born in West Chester, PA, he was a son of the late Frederick and the late Marie (Odorisio) Bonifacino.

Rick was a jack of all trades lending a hand and the shirt off his back to friends and family whenever they needed him. For many years, he worked in the family Mushroom business and in recent years for Produce Partners in Toughkenamon. He loved animals and was a Philadelphia sports fan.

Survivors include one brother, Steven F. Bonifacino and his wife Cindy of Kennett Square; his sister in law Cheryl of Harrisburg and seven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Henry M. Bonifacino who passed in 1997.

You are invited to visit with Rick’s family and friends from 6-8PM Friday March 11th and 10-11AM Saturday March 12th at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116) 250 W.   3. I am so sorry to hear of Ricky’s passing. I live in Atlanta and haven’t seen Ricky in years. I will never forget the dinners we experienced many years ago. When the Lafferty’s and the Bonifacino’s got together, the volume button was up to 15. Lots of fun at Bethany Beach with Vincenti and the gang.

  5. I just heard about Ricky. I have not seen him in years since I moved to Maryland. I spent so much time with him and his two dogs Brandi and Bear. I am so sorry that he has passed. He was such a fun guy to be with. I don’t even know what to say but I am so sorry and will always remember Ricky as my friend.

  7. I was shocked when I heard of Rick’s passing. We were classmates from kindergarten to 12th grade…there is a heavy void in my heart at this time…rest easy my brother…family they say “Weeping may endure for a night…but…JOY cometh in the morning!” my thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Oh Ricky, the class reunions will never be the same…RIP

  8. Ricky was always a great friend to me and I was happy you mentioned his love for animals. Ill never forget brandy the old english sheep dog and how much he loved her. My heart goes out to his family. Im so glad he found a soulmate. Ricky deserved true love. He was well loved and will never be forgotten.

  12. It was an honor to have known Rick. We grew up together on Cedar Spring Road. As kids we spent a lot of hours blazing trails through the woods on our bikes. There was nothing better than jumping bikes off of 20 foot piles of spent manure and go flying down into the creek. He’ll be sorely missed.
