JUNE A. MILAM, age 74, of Landenberg, PA, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Chester
County Hospital. She was the wife of Pedro Lopez, who passed away in 2015, and with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.

Born in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Martha Bullock Holmes.

June was a custodian at the Kennett School District for 18 years, retiring in 2003. After her retirement, she worked for 6 years as an aide at the Pocopson Home.

She enjoyed shopping, flower gardening, taking care of others and being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

June is survived by three sons, Eddie Benson Milam of Avondale, PA, Bryan Ronald Milam of Maryland and Pedro Lopez, Jr. of Avondale, PA; four daughters, Terry Velazquez and her husband Isabelino of Kennett Square, Pa, Dannette Rentas of Nottingham, PA, Donna S. Milam of Landenberg, PA and Carmen Lopez Colon of Oxford, PA; one sister, Celia Holmes of Elkton, MD; seventeen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, John Benson Milam; one sister, Ruth Ann Holmes, and one brother, Clyde Conard.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 11:00 to 1:00 Wednesday morning, April 6, 2016, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street. Kennett square, PA. Her funeral service will follow at 1:00. Burial will be private.

  4. June was a very special lady. Having all of my children go thru Kennett School District they always spoke highly of her. She watched over them like she was their grandmother. I could always count on June to let me know what they were up too! God Bless You June and May You Rest In Peace….

  7. Sorry for you loss of your mom.she was a grandmom to so many kids.i remember going over to see Terry and she would be there .My kids always said grandmom was there.she was loved by all. God has gain a new angle now to watch over all here grandkids.
