  1. Roxanne and Family,
I am still in shock from Roxanne,s phone call with the news of Olen,s passing.
I knew Olen for just over 10 years and was always impressed with his zeal for life and genuine care about other people.
It all started with Gary, Olen and I going on a bear hunting trip to Canada. We decided on the way home that we would try to come up with an invention to take to market and made a pact to share whatever success we might have. Olen came up with a great invention and kept his word to Gary and I about sharing. Olen worked tirelessly always, trying to bring the invention to fruition but we ran into some difficulties getting our product to market.
Olen had honesty and integrity that is rarely seen today. He genuinely cared about people and he always spoke with me about his love for his wife Roxanne and his family. We had a certain bond as Olen and I connected on many levels as veterans, hunters, business and family men.
Olen will be sorely missed and will always hold a place in my heart. I am glad to be able to say that I knew Olen Grimes and was able to share time in this life with him. He was a good man! God Bless you Olen.
