  1. I am very sad to learn of the passing of Johnny Lynch. In 1970, fresh out of college, I moved to Chadds Ford to work at the Brandywine River Museum. Johnny befriended me. He was kind, funny, warm and charming. If you would like to email me, I would love to send you a wonderful photo of Johnny taken in 1971 at the Wyeth homestead.

  2. Pat,

I am so sorry for your loss. Back in the day, John, was Johnny Lynch to me. When I was a teenager, I worked behind the fountain soda counter at Reece’s Pharmacy……………………….Johnny was always there drinking his cup of coffee……………..he had a brilliant laugh. I have very fond memories.

  5. I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember John as always smiling and happy and his love of music. One afternoon in the neighborhood there was a radio station having rock trivia. I can’t remember the question but the answer was Under My Thumb by the Stones. I was so impressed that he knew it and to this day I think of him when I hear that songt. Not only did he know the answer, he sang the answer!!

  6. Pat..very sorry for your loss. I remember my dad calling him “John John” back in our St. Pat’s days. John told him very politely that he was getting too old to be called that. May he rest in peace.

  7. I am shocked and sadden to hear of John’s passing. I strung and repaired his guitar for many years. John was so passionate about his music and would play and sing for me after the new strings were tuned. He had a wonderful laugh and sense of humor. John…I will miss you….
