  1. Frank, Gina, Jo-Ann , I am so sorry for your loss. You all have my sincere condolences. I have nothing but great , if not funny memories of Aunt Mary. I chuckle every time I pick up a flyswatter and think how many times she went to grab one when somebody was being bad. The older we got the harder we were to get caught and get hit. Ok, I said we , but we all know it was really mostly Frankie she was trying to hit. I miss those days.

  3. Your Mother was so much fun to be around. Although we weren’t really related she was at all of our extended family gatherings. I remember her at those easy carefree Bingo Days at Kennett and at St. Marys where she knew everybody in the room.
Your mom was a special lady to everyone who knew her. I’ll bet she is in Heaven right now keeping everything straight!!
    Christmas Peace!

  4. Frank, Gina, Jo-Ann and the Rest of the Puoci Family,
My sincere condolences on the passing of Mary, a very dear friend of my sister, Dee. They are now in heaven happy to see each other again. She always had a smile on her face everytime I saw her although it had been quite a while since I saw her. Heaven has gained another great angel. May she rest in peace.

  5. Dear Frankie, Joanne and Gina,
I am very sorry for your loss. You and your families are in my prayers.
Mary was a kind caring and strong woman who always stepped up to care for others.
I remember how excited we would get when mom said get ready we are going to visit the Pouci’s because we knew it would include lots of laughs and good food!
Vacationing in Cape May, and seeing her at the Son’s of Italy pool always smiling. Her visits at my Nano’s were always enjoyed by all.
I remember her pressing a dollar bill into my hand the first time I visited her with Stevie as a newborn.
And then later there she was at St Pat’s-the dynamic duo, Mary and Clara serving the best lunch ever (just ask my son Brian) .
I always considered her as part of our family, she will be dearly missed.
    Love,
    Jeannie(Regina) Fieni Lafferty

  9. I have so many wonderful memories of Mary..especially from my childhood. She knew how to fold a twenty dollar bill up to be a tiny little piece of paper so my mom wouldn’t see it to tell her to take it back, she would let me swim in her pool even on the cold rainy days because that what I wanted to do, and she would be waiting with a towel and tea after I realized it was too cold, even if I did something wrong she would tell me I could do no wrong and would always defend me no matter what. That was Mary…generous, loyal, encouraging and loving. She could make you feel better about yourself in an instant, she could put a smile on your face even on the saddest day, she was the biggest cheerleader for your success and would know how to pick you up from failure. When I lived away from home she would send me letters just to say hello, I loved getting her letters and cards, she would always put something in there to make me laugh and smile. She was also so witty, and would come up with funny little comments about everything. I will miss her tremendously, she will always have such a very special place in my heart. Gina, Nicole, JoAnn, Robin, Frank, Marie and Lisa – my thoughts are with you during this difficult time, her memory will live on through all the people she touched. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Your mom was a wonderful lady who I remember when visiting my grandmother Basilio when I was young.
Later I would see your mom in her chair watching the Kennett Memorial parade.
