THOMAS WALKER MATHEWSON,Jr., age 75, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018, at his residence. He was the husband of Delores Roberts Mathewson, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Thomas Walker Mathewson and the late Tacey Whitlock Mathewson.

He retired in 1998 as an automotive parts salesman, last working at Kennett Auto Parts, Kennett Square, PA.

Tom enjoyed sports and being with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Thomas Walker Mathewson, III and his wife Patti of Birdsboro, PA and Charles “Matt” Mathewson and his wife Stacey of West Grove, PA; two daughters, Terri Mathewson Huss and her husband Jeff of Lincoln University, PA and Linda Joan Mathewson of West Grove, PA; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Huss, Holly Mathewson, Kristen Murphy, Brittany Crawford, Natalie Mathewson, Miranda Mathewson, Tommy Mathewson and Sarah Mathewson and three great grandchildren, Rilee Crawford, Tanner Crawford and Chloe Murphy.

His service and burial will be private.

    Very sorry reading about Tom passing. Wonderful man whom I always enjoyed talking baseball and other sports with.
    Years back I would run into him early morning picking up the bundles and we would discuss sports from the night.
