Dominic J. Mancino

September 22, 1927 - March 28, 2018 Lincoln University, PA | Age 90 Loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather,Brother, Uncle and Friend.

DOMINIC J. MANCINO, age 90, of Lincoln University, PA. passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Regal Heights Healthcare, Hockessin, DE. He was the husband of Sonia Bresciani Mancino, who passed away in 2011, and with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in Kennett Square, PA, he was the son of the late Giovanni Mancino and Angelina Fazio Mancino.

He was a stone mason working for Mobac, Kennett Square, PA, retiring in 1988, after over 30 years of service.

Dominic was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Kennett Square, PA.

He enjoyed gardening, watching sports on TV, stone masonry, trips to Italy and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Richard Mancino and his wife Patricia of Kennett Square, PA; one daughter, Liliana Altman and her husband Thomas of Lincoln University, PA; three brothers, John Mancino of Embreeville, PA, Albert Mancino and his wife Jeanie of Wilmington, DE and Sebastian Mancino of Kennett Square, PA; two sisters, Florence Morales and her husband Joseph of Wilmington, DE and Mary Crossan of Avondale, PA; six grandchildren, Erica, Joseph, Monica, Tommy, Nicky and Gina and two great grandchildren. Nicholas, Jr. and Arlo.

He was predeceased by one brother, James Mancino.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 8:30 to 10:30 on Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 at St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.

  1. I smile when I think of your mom and dad! Sonia used to call for Dominic and Dominic would just shake his head….like “Oh my God” And then when they spoke in Italian..they were so cute. We were young at the time….but such fond memories. Dominic is with Sonia now and they are looking after you! Love and prayers to you and your families.

    Very sorry reading about your father passing, a wonderful man.
    I worked with him at MOBAC for a couple years when I was younger. Very hard worker and he was a very good stone mason.
    He was always going to sales buying stone hammers and then had a bucket of water he kept them in to swell the handles.
