April 17, 1942 - April 15, 2018 Kennett Square, PA | Age 75 Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.

RUTH ANN CRAMPTON, age 75, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of Clifford B. Crampton who passed away in 2000, and with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late John N. Jackson and the late Margaret Snowden.

She was a program technician at Agilent Technology (Hewlett-Packard), retiring in 2007, after 33 years of service.

Ruth Ann was a competitive bowler and bowled in many tournaments. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, Bar-B-Que’s and family functions,, was an Philadelphia Sports fan and especially enjoyed tennis, and being with her family and friends.

She lived with three of her grandchildren, Shar-ron, Tiffany, and Andrew, and is survived by two other grandchildren, Tia and Mia. She is also survived by one son, Michael A. Crampton; four brothers, John H. Jackson of Toughkenamon, PA, Wilson Jackson of Kennett Square, PA, Robert A. Jackson of Colorado, and James R. Jackson and his wife Melissa of Bear, DE; three sisters, Joyce J. Anderson and her husband William of Avondale, PA, Betty J. Jackson of Kennett Square, PA and Rosalind Jackson of Michigan; three aunts, Blanche J. Wells, Connie Anderson, and Edna Jackson; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Linda Crampton, one brother, William E. Jackson and one sister, Mary Louise Jackson.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9:00 to 11:00 on Monday morning, April 23, 2018, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. Her Funeral service will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.

  3. I lived two doors down from Mrs. Crampton on Broad Street in front of the high school. She was always very nice and kind to my family and I. I just learned of her passing today (4/24), and my family offers our condolences to Michael and Mrs. Crampton’s family. God Bless!!

  8. I met Ruth while bowling in Downingtown several years ago and we became good friends.
    Over the years we traveled to many bowling tournaments and have great memories.
    We win first prize in the Joe Nagy tournament in 2013.
    She was a wonderful friend not just to me bu many others.

  10. I have very fond memories of spending the night, having dinner, bowling, picnics, and going on summer day trips with Linda. Ruth Ann & Kick always treated me like family. She was a kind and a giving woman, I am grateful/blessed that she was apart of my growing up, I was always welcomed in their home.
