Catherine E. Warren, age 84, of Toughkenamon died on Saturday, Nov. 9 2019 at the Pocopson Home, West Chester, PA. She was the wife of the late Albert D. Warren Sr., who passed away in 1998.

She was born in Conowingo, MD, and was the daughter of the late Violette Carter.

She was a graduate of Avon Grove High School, Class of 1953. She was employed as a Warehouse Supervisor with Seneca Foods for 36 years, retiring in 1994. She was also employed part time as a Customer Service Rep (Bagger) with Giant Foods, retiring in late 2006.

She is survived by a son, Albert D. Warren Jr., of Landenberg, PA. (daughter in-law, Carol Lewis-Warren); a daughter, Barbara A. Warren of Wilmington, DE; a granddaughter, LuShonda B. Stevens also of Wilmington, DE; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held privately.

  4. This Saturday as we talked & I was stunned to hear Ms. Catherine had passed away that very day. May God be with her thru eternity. Memories of Pine Street getting approvals from both your Mom & Dad for you to go to Newberrys after school to buy patterns & materials. Good ole 70s, making our own clothes etc. My condolences & prayers go out to you & your family. Stay in touch, I’m there for you my friend.

    Sorry to hear of the passing of Sis. Warren. I had several enjoyable opportunities to visit her at Pocopson Home. She would always enjoy singing some of her favorite hymns and reciting scripture. You will be continually in our thoughts and prayers.
