  1. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave’s family. I was so saddened to hear of Dave’s untimely passing. We both graduated in the Class of 1975 from AGHS. I’m sorry I never got to know Dave (Pete) in our adult lives. After reading all of these messages, it’s obvious that Dave had a lot of good friends and family! R.I.P. Dave.

  2. Dave introduced me to my motorcycle family “FSMC” nearly 10 years ago, became my sponsor and for that I will be forever grateful. Dave loved music, bikes, cars and most of all, he loved his family. I’m not sure if Dave loved or hated that they decided to name a virus after his favorite beer, but I’m sure that he’d find the humor in it. Because that’s what I will miss the most, Dave had a great sense of humor. R.I.P. my brother.

Try to remember the good things about him (and there were a lot!) – all the things that make you smile when you think about him! It won’t make the loss any easier, but it can help you get through it. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

  7. I only knew Dave 2 years. We met at a car show. I liked his ride. We (Dave, Bob and me) would cruise to shows together and I always enjoyed his company and some times a couple beers.

I am so sorry for the loss of your best friend and father. I would sometime wish that my boys had a father and best friend in their lives like you had in your dad, Boys need their Dad , I hope in the days ahead that you struggle with the loss you also find the love your Dad had for you and how lucky you are to have had him everyday that he lived and the rest of your life now that he is in your heart forever. I loved to see you together and wished that my boys father was the man your Dad was , always there no matter what to support and offer a loving gesture.
He was a great guy I will miss him

  14. Russ and I send our sympathy and best wishes. We remember Dave from the “Avondale Fire Company Days” which were a lot of fun. We bumped into him a while ago (didn’t recognize him with the beard and long hair) and had a laugh or two. He was a nice guy.
Thinking of his family at this sad time.

  16. Dave was my biggest crush when I was growing up! I, too, am Bob Evans ‘little’ sister. We all hung out, and I saved them from fighting when Bob demolished Dave’s car! We all stuck together though, and Dave has been someone to lean on after after my brothers passing. Please behave you two !!! Prayers and good thoughts to everyone. See you guys on the other side.

  17. Dave was a dear friend of my brother Bob Evans. We all grew up and went to school together in West Grove. I have a lot of fond memories of those years and their shenanigans all of which were silly and harmless. Now the two of you can continue good times spent together. He was a good person and always available to lend a hand. Peace to you Dave and prayers to the family.
