Jennifer Lyn Albert

June 28, 2020 Chadds Ford, PA Caring, Loving, Personable

Jennifer Lyn Albert, age 47 of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Born 1972 in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Thomas L. Albert and Jean Aussieker Albert.

In her free time, Jennifer loved to dine out with friends and family, especially when she was able to enjoy high tea with her grandmother, aunts and cousins. Jennifer also loved to travel. She enjoyed swimming and was always happy at the beach. From the time she was 13, Jennifer found joy in volunteering at the Mary Campbell Center in Wilmington, DE. Her passion for volunteering was widespread and included many different charitable organizations. If there were ever a call to action, Jennifer would answer.

Jennifer was caring, loving and personable. She loved her family and spending time with her friends. It was easy to befriend Jennifer because she would and could talk to absolutely everyone. Her gift of gab often came in handy at work as Jennifer had a great love of the restaurant industry. She began working in the hospitality industry, which allowed her to polish her innate people skills and move on to work as a licensed Insurance Agent for AIG, and then as a very successful Sales Representative for Verizon and DuPont.

All who knew Jennifer will deeply miss her amiable warmth and kindness.

In addition to her parents, Thomas and Jean, Jennifer is survived by her best friend, confidant and companion of 20 years, Ty Donahoe of Chadds Ford, PA; her sister, Kristin Albert (fiancé, Joey Cherico) of Lewes, DE; 2 uncles, Gerald Albert (Roselle) of Bear, DE and Jeffrey “Buzzy” Albert of Wilmington, DE; her aunt, Pamela Lane (Jack) of Chadds Ford, PA as well as several cousins.

Due to pandemic restrictions, a Memorial Service will be planned for Jennifer at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Jennifer’s family kindly requests that donations be made to the Mary Campbell Center, 4641 Weldin Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803.

Arrangements by Kuzo Funeral Home of Kennett Square, PA.

  2. Jennifer has been on my mind so much lately, and her untimely passing has released a flood of memories of her entire life. She was a beautiful baby, an adorable toddler, a precocious, funny young girl, a social butterfly as a teenager, who blossomed into an independent woman. The loss of her will be felt by us all. God bless, Jenny, know we love you and will miss you.
