  4. Tom and all of Lesia’s family, I was about to message Lesia on facebook, but first checked her page to see any new posts. There were none. Something told me to check online and I found her obit. Needless to say, I am shocked. After her last message to me, I thought she was coming along. My heart is broken. Please accept my sincere condolences on your great loss of a precious soul, who endured so much so admirably. Lesia was the best hairstylist I’ve ever had, such a sweet lady and a wonderful friend for many years. You can rest assured that she is reaping her eternal reward which none of us can fathom. Please know that, had I known of her passing at the time, I would certainly have been at her services to bid my farewell. My prayers are with you, that you will find peace in realizing she is enjoying God’s (and her) Heavenly Home.

  6. I met Lesia in 1999 and we became instant friends. We had many things in common and viewed life and others in a similar manner. We talked about stories growing up with our siblings and the silly things we did. I wasn’t one of luck ones to know Lesia when she was young.

The years pasted and many things changed for both of us but we remained friends. Lesia cut my hair for many years so that was always when we would get to caught up and laugh. I think everyone that ever met Lesia knows she loved to laugh. She would regularly make herself the brunt of a joke to get a laugh. Once after a haircut, she listen to a voice mail that the person mispronounced her name “Lesia Crognale”. She went into a monologue and throughout 6 or 7 incorrect pronunciation of her first and last name in quick order. I was laughing so hard I had to drop to my knees to get my breath. Lesia’s infectious laugh and warming smile seemed to put people as ease. Her ability to endure painful situations was amazing. She experienced much pain in her life, both physical and emotional but somehow still maintained a positive outlook. She was tough as nails from my view point!!

I would like to share a story that illustrated how kind, sweet and loving Lesia was to all. It’s the story of Sweet Pea. Lesia and Nick lived in an old house on a main street in Kennet Square for a bit. The story as I know it was Sweet Pea (Cat) started hanging around behind their house so Lesia feed her. Next thing she is inside and oh my, she is pregnant looking for a safe place to have babies. Lesia was struggling to run the Hair salon, care for Nick and now also a litter of kittens. The kittens were much work and she had little free time. I remember telling her she could just take them to the SPCA as I could see they were exhausting her every day. She look at me and said ” Huh, can’t do that. Look they are Angels” with her big eyes wide open and an enchanting smile. So Lesia did what I saw her do many times before and after, put others needs before of her own. It didn’t matter if it was financial, physical or emotional or all, Lesia would take on any burden to help others. She had a heart of gold, and continuously worried about others more than her own health, especially her children. And by the way, those kittens that Sweet Pea had in 2007, one is Tom’s Tanqueray and his brother, Tigger, is my sweet 14 year old boy.

Lesia often referred to animals and children as “Angels”. She is my angel… always there in times of crisis. I hope she continues to watch over us all. I will miss my sweet friend Lesia for the rest of my days. With much love, your friend David!

  9. I first knew Leisa as a family friend and then got to know her better when I married Rob and became friends with Sonja and Don. Rob and I have always enjoyed being around Leisa because she always seemed to light up whatever room she was in with her kind heart and beautiful personality. I am saddened that we won’t be able to be there with her and her family but her memory will always remain in our hearts. Rest In Peace, Leisa, you are missed.

  11. I have known Tom Moulder almost all his life. Like most of us he had his ups and his downs. When he met Lesia his downs all but disappeared. He was basically walking on air. They meshed perfectly. She supported him in his en-divers and he in turn supported her business. Lesia will be missed by all who knew her, none more then Tom. God Bless them all.
