Jim faithfully followed the Phillies and Eagles. As the children flew the nest, Jim started hitting the Links. He loved the game of golf. He set up a home workshop and produced custom-made clubs for family & friends.

Throughout his life Jim’s priorities were God, Family & Country. He loved Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ and had a special devotion to His Blessed Mother, Mary. He was proud to be a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. Jim loved his family. He was a loving & devoted husband, an excellent father, mentor, coach and friend to his children. He was a loving son & brother. Jim loved this country and passed this love of country unto his children.

Jim is survived by his wife, two children, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his sister, Carol Murphy Fravel, in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family would like to thank EMTs & Police of South Walton, the Doctors and Nurses at Sacred Heart Hospital, ICU, Emerald Coast Hospice, Kindred Home Care, and Dr. Kinzleman. Their skill & compassion was outstanding.
