Mrs. Steinmetz was by far my favorite elementary school teacher! She was so kind and everyone wanted to be in her class. I made my lifelong friends in her classroom and I will forever be grateful for her positive influence in my early childhood! I am so sorry for your loss!
Please accept my condolences at the passing of Evelyn. Evelyn was a good friend and colleague at Mary D. Lang. Evelyn will be missed.

Evelyn was a mentor, friend, and very supportive colleague when I joined the staff at Mary D. Lang. Such a fine model of a teacher, mother, and an all in all wonderful person. I hope your are at peace, Ev…we will all miss you so much. Sue
I am so sorry about the death of Evelyn. I taught with her at Mary D. Lang for many years. She was always a quiet, supportive friend who would greet you with a smile. I enjoyed being around her and admired her knitting and sewing skills. I think of her often. She will be missed.

Evelyn conveyed the best that is in all of us. She was an undemanding friend, patient with a reassuring, non-judgmental laugh. It is heart-warming to see that she was professionally and maturely highly regarded as well as greatly valued as our high school friend.
O Paula and family, my sincere condolences to you in the passing of your Mother. She taught many ways to enrich my sewing and was a beautiful friend. God grant you peace. Joyce Parrett
I lost a good friend and colleague. I have so many good memories of working together, fun at Sea Isle City and our Trivia group. Hope you are at peace. Elaine.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Paula and George in their loss. I thought the world of Evelyn and enjoyed working with her at Mary D Lang.
It is always a sad day when we lose a friend, classmate, or colleague. I regret not being able to thank her for encouraging
me to apply to KHS for a teaching position. Her reputation as an excellent teacher was well known among our classmates.
Dear Paula & Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother, Evie. As difficult as this time is, I hope you find comfort in the cherished memories you have of her. You can carry them in your hearts forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you. With love, Joanne Hampton
I am shocked to have this sad news. Evelyn was a wonderful person and a great Teacher. In our years at Mary D. Lang, she was a Friend, always supportive of me and MDL, and a quiet advisor through the years we were together as part of the “Lang Gang”. I am sure that the
many former Students & Parents will always remember her. RIP. Ev.

Thank you Ev for mentoring me my first year teaching at Mary D Lang. Your guidance and support helped me become the teacher I am today 30 years later.
