  1. I will have fond memories of Ralph for the rest of my life. He was a gem of a human being – bright eyed, hard working, honest, and sociable. I always enjoyed talking with him at the greenhouses and I had so much respect for him and Barbara and the fact that they were keeping the tradition of cut flowers alive in Chester County. Ralph will be greatly missed by the community. He touched so many lives, mine included. My condolences to Barbara, Danny, Cordelia, his grandchildren and the whole family.

  2. My prayerful condolences to Barbara and all her loved ones. Whenever I would purchase pants and flowers at their green house, Ralph and Barbara would carefully and warmly assist me, as I needed their expert help. May Ralph rest in the Peace of Jesus and Barbara be comforted by the strengthening Peace of Jesus.

  7. Ron & Rosazza Family, Very sorry reading about your fathers passing. Real nice man, very business like when I was growing up. I remember him from Little Leagues days when he used to be treasurer and the equipment manager long time ago. A lot of those managers spoke highly of your Dad. Later on we talk when he would drop his roses off at the old mushroom dock in Avondale my Dad used. He had a great love for sports and I can see why after reading his obit. Be at peace knowing he led a good life and is in heaven today. Our condolences to your family.

  8. Ralph was a legend in his hometown of Avondale along with his Rosazza family. Anyone who walked through the Rosazza Greenhouse door was a new friend.

They could count on Ralph for a conversation about history, flower business, sports or anything going on in the area. This Hometown business was where all the locals would shop for funeral flowers, wedding arrangements, beautiful poinsettias for the holidays for churches or homes. Anytime special that called for flowers we could drop by and pick up a beautiful vase of flowers or plants for the season. His wife Barbara was by his side taking orders and making arrangements and son Danny was there through the years.

Ralph will be missed by so many who knew him as a part of the town and those who knew him through his business, but mostly by his loving wife and the many members of his family. Our thoughts are with each of you as you face the loss of this loved one

  9. My condolences to Ralph’s family. I remember him from years ago when he would come to the market on King Street in Wilmington each week and chat about the people we both knew from the West Grove/Avondale area. So very well-suited for the business of making things grow, his love for the beauty of nature always showed in his spirit. His soul was worn on his face, always a smile and a kind word for everyone. Rest in peace.
