To the family of John DiBiase. Remember him well from Avon grove. Sending my prayers and condolences to all. Santi prayers for you remember you as well.
Sad to see another AGHS teaching legend pass. Had Mr. D for freshman English if memory serves me right. Umpired with him at AGLL summer ‘72. Always seemed to be happy and upbeat. RIP John now that you’re reunited with Mrs. D.
One of the Great teachers at Avon Grove High School.
Mr. DiBiase was a nice man. I had him for English and I was in his future wife Joannes’ homeroom. They were right across the hall from one another. She was Miss Foy then. They used to hang out together in the hall between classes just smiling and talking and you could tell there was something “in the air”.
Both were really good teachers and nice people. So went the good old days. RIP.
I never had Mr. DiBiase as my English teacher but he was my homeroom teacher. Great guy, loved sports and Penn State. Always had kind words and look out for us when in school. Sad news that he died but today he is back in the arms of our Lord and with Mrs. DiBiase. RIP my friend.
