November 2, 1937 - March 11, 2023 Nottingham, PA | Age 85 Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Companion and Friend.Shirley L. Stoneback, age 85, of Nottingham, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her daughter’s residence.
Born in Ashe Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Smiley and the late Nora Davis Smiley.
Shirley worked at the MGA CO-OP for 25 years retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed flower gardening, trips to Longwood Gardens, traveling and being with her family and friends
.
Shirley is survived by four daughters, Linda DaBundo and her husband Dominic of Landenberg, PA, Debra Johnston and her husband Duke of Landenberg, PA, Catherine Antes and her late husband Eddie of Landenberg, PA and Patricia Kelly and her late husband Billy of Phoenixville, PA; one sister, Joyce Jones of Creston, NC; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and her companion, Charles Tuggle of Nottingham, PA
She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Hailey; one brother, Delmar Smiley and three sisters, Velva Lewis, Minnie Welch and Ruby Pennington.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9:30 to 11:00 on Saturday morning, March 18, 2023, at the Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. Her Funeral service will follow at 11:00.
Burial will be in the Kemblesville United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1772 New London Road (Route 896), Kemblesville, PA.

Aunt Shirley was a giving kind lady who I will always remember for the care and loved she showed my mother during her illness right up to her last day. She was always there when someone needed help.
