Richard Stine Fegely, age 95 of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Glen Mills Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Nancy Joan Fegely, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2021.

Born 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, Richard was the son of the late Stine A. Fegely and the late Lillian Grace Phillips.

Following graduation from Yeadon High School, Richard served in the Navy during World War II. Richard worked for PECO up until his retirement and was the second generation of men to work for PECO in his family.

Richard was a huge Philadelphia sports fan and was always rooting for the Phillies and the Eagles. He was also an avid reader. Richard and Nancy took many trips together throughout their marriage, Normandy being one of their favorite trips. His love of travel also took him to Germany where he explored his ancestry.

Richard had a wonderful sense of humor, was a true jokester and enjoyed making others smile.

Richard is survived by his daughters, Sue Ann Dorner (James) of Townsend, DE , Cheryl Hilinski (Bob) of Perkasie, PA; his son, Mark Fegely of Downingtown, PA; five grandchildren, Chris, Brian, Drew, Lindsey and Kyle; and soon to be five great grandchildren, Adriel, Olivia, Gabriel, Evelyn and one on the way.

He was predeceased by his sister, Jane.
