September 23, 1929 - November 14, 2023 Kennett Square, PA | Age 94 Loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend.Dominic DeDominic, age 94, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Chester County Hospital. He was the husband of Esther Ranalli DeDominic, who passed away in 2002, and with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Peter DeDominic and the late Margaret Bucci DeDominic.
Dominic was a hairdresser and the owner/operator of the Longwood Beauty Salon, retiring in 2002 after 50 years of being in business.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Kennett Square, PA and was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus , Kennett Square, PA.
He enjoyed bowling and horse racing, and being with his family and friends.
He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Navy onboard the USS Lake Champlain.
Dominic is survived by one son, Duane DeDominic of Kennett Square, PA; two daughters, Tina Byrd of Kennett Square, PA and Cathy Ciara and her husband Bob of Avondale, PA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
You are invited to attend his Graveside service at 11:00 on Monday morning, November 20, 2023, at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.

I am so sorry that I didn’t know he had passed. I would have attended his service. Dot Yeatman and I were his businesses clients for years. I will never for get that when pj was born and weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and he bet those numbers at the track and won!!

Awww so sorry to hear of your wonderful father passing. He was such a great guy, he taught me how to really wash hair!!! I loved working for him many fond memories. May God be with the family during this difficult time.
