Martha Budischak, age 93 of Kennett Square, PA, formerly of Wilmington, DE, and Valley Stream, NY, died Saturday June 4, 2016 at Kendal At Longwood. She was the wife of Steve G. Budischak, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.
Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed doing puzzles, singing, playing cards and games and most of all being with her family. Though she was soft spoken, she had an inner strength that drew people to her. Her smile and kindness were visible to all.
Marthas faith and devotion to God were a guiding force throughout her life and a living example to everyone. She was always there with a kind word and support and always saw the best in people.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by nine children: MaryLou Hawkins (Donald), Elizabeth Miller, Ellen Budischak, Stephen Budischak (Sue), Joseph Budischak (Denise), Teri Jones (Bob), Agnes Pont (John), Michael Budischak (Valann), John Budischak (Lisa); fifteen grandchildren: Katie, Bill, Cory, Valerie, Adrian, Sarah, Dylan, Denali, John, Aimee, Kevin, Nathan, Megan, Evan, and Nina; 7 great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Miles, Juila, Claire, Natalie, Jackson and Reid and her sister Caroline Young and many nieces and nephews.
Martha was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Marion and Phyl and brother Louis.
A visitation will be held from 6-8PM Tuesday June 14, 2016 and 9-10AM Wednesday June 15th at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116) 250 W. State St. Kennett Square, PA 19348. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church 212 Meredith St. Kennett Square, PA 19348. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
