Alan Herman Jones

Alan Herman Jones, 76, passed away on September 14, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Ralph and Mildred Jones of Kennett Square, PA. Alan was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Levittown and Kennett Square. He was a 1968 graduate of Unionville High School. He was a carpenter by trade and retired several years ago.

He leaves his two children, Merideth Murray (James) and Daven Hunsicker (Erin), and 4 grandchildren, Samantha Murray, Harrison Murray, Grayson Hunsicker and Logan Hunsicker, all of North Carolina, and his two sisters, Cynthia Hartman (Don) of Hardeeville SC, and Merrilee Latterell (Jeff) of Exton PA. He also leaves his sister-in-law Pat Jones of Royersford PA and her children Christina Gregson (Nic) and Kim Leancu (TJ) and their families, all in VA. He was predeceased by his parents and his older brother Bruce Jones.
