Angela Reed-Breese (nee Opalack), age 85 of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Chester County Hospital.
Born 1939 in Norristown, PA, Angela was the daughter of the late Charles J. Opalack and the late Rose R. Pascale.
After graduating from Pottstown High School, Angela attended the Philadelphia Museum College of Art where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Angela was a talented artist and received numerous New York Graphic Arts awards throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Delaware Valley Art League (DVAL) and a signature member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society (PWCS). Her watercolor pieces were also featured throughout Chester County exhibits.
Angela had a robust career in the art industry. She worked as a graphic artist for WFIL TV, as the Art Director for the Washington Post and as Art Director for the National Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C.
Outside of her passion for art, Angela enjoyed gardening and travelling.
Angela is survived by one sister, Cheryl A. Opalack, D.O.; as well as one brother, Gerald H. Opalack. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Rand Reed.
Services will be private.
