ANTHONY SCERNI, AGE 83, OF Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. He was the husband of Luise Haag Scerni, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.

Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Innocenzo and Maria Ferrante Scerni.

Mr. Scerni was a self employed real estate investor, retiring in 2013.

He was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, Avondale, PA.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 on Monday morning, May 9, 2016 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, 8910 Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), Avondale, PA. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00.
His entombment will be at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE.
