Barry Lee Peirson Sr.

Barry Lee Peirson Sr., 77, of Avondale, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 23, 2025. Born on August 13, 1947, in Coatsville PA, Barry was the devoted husband of Wilma Lee Peirson and a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.

Barry is survived by his wife, Wilma Lee Peirson; his son, Barry Lee Peirson Jr., and his wife, Sonya Kaye Peirson; his cherished grandchildren, Alexandria Dawn Bochanski and her husband, Michael Bochanski, and Barry Lee Peirson III; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Barry worked as a dedicated mushroom broker and took immense pride in his profession. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cornhole, and cheering on his favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies. Above all, Barry will be remembered for his kind and selfless nature. He was always the first to reach out with a call, making sure others were okay and offering his support. He was a caring husband, father, and grandfather who brought joy and warmth to everyone around him.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m., at the Kennett Square Missionary Baptist Church, 408 Bayard Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
