Benny Pizzini, age 84, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Landenberg, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his residence. He was he husband of Mudite Legzdina Pizzini, with whom he share 20 years of marriage.

Born in Landenberg, PA, he was the son of the late Stefano Pizzini and the late Guditta Pizzini.

Benny was a mushroom grower in the family business, S. Pizzini and Sons Landenberg, PA.

He was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, Avondale, PA.

Benny enjoyed bowling, watching football, cowboy movies and being with his family and friends. In earlier years, he enjoyed playing soccer and basketball.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Teresa Pizzini and her husband Steve Lafferty of Hockessin, DE; one son, Ben-Joseph Pizzini and his wife Susan of Landenberg, PA; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Carol Mahoney Pizzini, who passed away in 1997, and with whom he shared 39 years of marriage and two brothers, Lucio Pizzini and Stephen Pizzini.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, 8910 Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), Avondale, PA. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA
