Clarence Clifford Anderson, Bunny as he was affectionately called, age 95 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away at his home Sunday, December 22, 2019.
Born December 21, 1924 in Clifton Mills, PA, Clarence was the son of the late Charles Clifford Anderson and the late Caroline Owens Anderson. He lived and worked in Kennett most of his life. Clarence was a graduate of Kennett High School.
Clarence proudly served our country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lejeune during World War II. Following his tour of duty he worked as a Mushroom Grower for over thirty-five years.
Clarence loved gardening. It was a favorite pastime of his. Clarence was always up to date on the news and read the newspaper religiously every day. He also enjoyed baseball.
Clarence is survived by his sister, Sara (Ferdie) Ingram; his brother, Wells Eugene Anderson; 3 nephews, Johnny (Cindy) Anderson, Tannacraig (Jeanette) Anderson, Pierre (Jennifer) Anderson; a very close family friend, Anthony Johnson; and he is survived by a host of other nieces and nephews as well.
You are invited to visit with Clarences family and friends on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 9:00AM to 10:45AM at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W. State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Services will begin at 11:00AM. Interment will take place at Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square, PA.
