Daniel T. O’Brien

Daniel T. OBrien, age 59 passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Chester County Hospital. He was the loving husband for over 36 years of Joyce (Owen) OBrien. Born on March 21, 1962 in Escondido, California he was the son of the late James Eugene and Marlene Joan (Ross) OBrien.

Daniel was a graduate of Kennett High School in the class of 1980. He earned a bachelors degree from West Chester University and a masters degree in special education from Immaculata University. He devoted his life to being an educator first working for Deveraux School and later for the Oxford School District at Hopewell Elementary. In his free time, he enjoyed playing guitar at school and in church as well as with family members.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Christine OBrien Murphy and her husband Chris, his son Sean OBrien, siblings Michael OBrien, Chris OBrien, Erin Beaver, and Terry OBrien. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Greg OBrien.
