It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Dave’s twin sister, Dawn Richter. She passed away on Friday, May 24 at the age of 81.
Born on April 23, 1943, she and Dave grew up in Fort Wayne, IN. They moved to Schenectady, NY in 1955, and she graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1961. From there, she attended Nathan Littauer School of Nursing in Gloversville, NY. After graduating, she worked for over 30 years as a nurse and later as an administrator for the American Red Cross. She won several Tiffany awards during her career.
She always enjoyed sports, playing basketball, baseball, and golf. As she got older, she enjoyed watching sports, especially Penn State football. She spent most of her life as a resident of Penfield, NY.
Prior to her passing, we brought her to PA, where we had the opportunity to spend the last six months making memories with her. We are grateful for the support and prayers for our family these last few months.
Special thanks to the staff at Linden Hall and Willow Tree Hospice.
Arrangements by Kuzo Funeral Home of Kennett Square, PA.
