Donna Jean Weaver

Donna Jean Weaver, age 63 of Avondale, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017. Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Mildred Mitchell and the late Ray D. Weaver.

Donna was a graduate of Kennett High School and later went on to work as a security monitor for Chesco Security.

Donna was known as an All-American girl with a beautifully free spirit. Some of Donnas biggest passions included music and her Jeep. She also had a deep appreciation for animals; Donna had both dogs and cats throughout her lifetime and was truly an animal lover. Donnas biggest passion, however, was her daughter, Amanda. The two had a very close and loving relationship.

Donna is survived by her mother, Mildred Mitchell; one son, Mike Weaver; one daughter, Amanda Akehurst; and one brother, David Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Donnas memory to Stand with Standing Rock, an organization that aims to preserve and protect Native American culture. Interment will be held privately.
