Edna H. (Henderson) Jackson

Edna H. Jackson, age 89 of West Grove, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Chester County Hospital. She was the wife of the late William A. Jackson, who passed away in 2002, and with whom she shared 14 years of marriage and 10 years as the love of her life.

Born in Dover, DE, Edna was the daughter of the late Mary Harris and the late James Henderson (Jim).

Edna worked various jobs in her 89 years of life. Nursing and raising her children and grandchildren were her favorites. Edna read her bible regularly and prayed often. She was always there if you needed help. She enjoyed travelling, trips to the casino, fishing and spending time with friends and family at family barbeques.

Edna is survived by her stepdaughter, Christine Marshall (husband, John and daughter, Nichole); niece, Phyllis Bean (daughter, Donya); granddaughter, Shona Norton and family, Tianna Counts-Cannon (daughter, Justice); grandsons, James Henderson, Thomas Cannon (wife, Tiffany), John J. Henderson, Jermaine Cannon (wife, Sarah); great grandchildren, Gabe Cannon, Tegan Cannon, Nekayla Cannon, Kieran Cannon, Justice Henry and Andre Jackson; her great great grandchild, Adonis Jackson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her four children, David B. Henderson, John L. Henderson, Mary Cannon and Robin Atley as well as her late brothers and sisters, Blanche, Calvin, Irene, Grace, Isabelle, Hazel, Cozella, Beatrice, Mary, Albert, John ‘JJ’, Clarence ‘Buster’, and Norman ‘Buddy’.

A viewing will be held from 10:00AM to 12:00PM on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W. State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Services and interment will be private.
