FRANCES F. HEWTON, age 84, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at the Pocopson Home.

Born in Lewiston, ME, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Madeline McGrath Frieman.

Frances was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, dining out with her friends, going to Art Museums, summers at the Jersey Shore, trips back to Maine and especially enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Frances is survived by one son, Robert D. Hewton and his wife Ellen of West Chester, PA; one daughter, Cathryn King and her husband Michael of West Grove, PA; two brothers, Donald Frieman of Philadelphia, PA and James Frieman of Florida; two sisters, Arlene Dowd and Susan Davis, both of Philadelphia, PA and four grandchildren, Kelly, Katherine, Lindsey and David.

Her service and burial will be private.
