Frances Marie Lincoln Civita

Frances M. Civita of Unionville, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.  Frances was married to the late Robert C. Civita and the two shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2015.

Frances had four children: the late Robert C. Civita Jr., Kimberly A. Civita-Griffith, Jeanette M. Civita-Brancato and Michael John Lincoln Civita.

Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 

Frances and Robert celebrated the sacrament of marriage in 1961. In addition to raising four beautiful children, Frances was very engaged with all of her children’s school activities, sports, extracurricular activities and was dedicated to the Church. All four of Frances’s children attended St. Patrick’s Grade School.  She was devoted to and worked with all of the Sisters at St. Patrick’s and at Bishop Shanahan where she attended and graduated High School. Frances was a very faithful person throughout her life.

Frances is now with her husband, parents and her son watching over us. 

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at St. Patrick Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM and interment will follow at Longwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Civita family request you pay it forward through a donation to your church or charity of choice. Paying it forward would be Frances’s greatest wish.
