Geraldine 'Gerry' Deitz

Geraldine (Gerry) Deitz, an extraordinary mother, and grandmother passed away on Monday, June, 24th 2024 at the age of 87. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Deitz Sr. with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Her unwavering love, boundless generosity, and infectious spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Born on June 15, 1937, to the late John and Catherine Castagna, Gerry was a proud mother to her three sons, Edward (Cheri) Deitz Jr., John (Mary K.) Deitz, and Thomas (Brenda) Deitz who were the center of her world. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and resilience.

Gerry was a cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Michael (Katy), Brianna, and TJ, who brought immense joy to her life. She relished every moment spent with them.

A true animal lover, Gerry had a special place in her heart for dogs. She dedicated much of her time to caring for and nurturing her beloved pets, and her home was always filled with their joyful barks and wagging tails. Her fur grandbabies brought much happiness into her life.

Gerry will be remembered for her warm heart and her unwavering support for her family. Her legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
