Gloria Marie Plummer, age 85 of Kennett Square, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Park Lane Post Acute Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late John James Plummer, Sr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2022.
Gloria graduated from Chester High School in 1958. She went on to work as a secretary for the Athletics Department of Unionville High School, where she worked for 20 years.
She was a long time parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Kennett Square.
Gloria loved spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to read and seemed to always have a book in her hand. Whether it was an Eagles game or a Phillies game, she liked watching sports and cheering on her Philadelphia teams. She also enjoyed visiting the beach and the Poconos. Gloria appreciated spending time on her screened-in porch and found tranquility there.
