Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother

Helen Peacock, age 95,of Media, PA, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was the wife and best friend of John Peacock, who died in 2009 and with whom she was happily married to for 58 years. Born in Toughkenamon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Oreste and Elizabeth Catena.

During the early years, Helen worked in the family mushroom business in Kennett Square, PA. After moving to Broomall, PA, she was an Administrator for the District Attorneys Office in Delaware County for many years prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed dancing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include two daughters, Joan and Patricia and one grandson, Colin.

Visitation services are from 9:30 – 10:30 AM Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Patrick Church, 212 Meredith St, Kennett Square, PA 19348, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
