HELEN B. WYNN, age 97, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 10, 2016. She was the wife of Earl Wynn who passed away in 2009 and with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. Her first husband, T. Richard Thompson, passed away in 1985, and with whom she shared 22 years of marriage.

Born in Rosedale, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Ella Clough Buffington.

She was a custodian at the Kennett High School for 12 years before retiring. She had previously worked at the Pocopson Home.

Helen was a past member of the Kennett Fire Company.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, listening to country music, needlework and being with her family and friends.

Helens family would like to thank all the staff who cared for her from Willow Tree Hospice and Relative Care.

She is survived by one daughter, Joanne Lewis and her husband Tom of Cochranville, PA; one son, Ronald W. Thompson of Kennett Square, PA; two sisters, Ruth Barker and Betty Harkins, both of Kennett Square, PA; one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 11:00 to 12:00 on Wednesday morning, January 13, 2016, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.
