Hilda I. Gonzalez

Hilda Iris Gonzalez of Oxford, Pa passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 29, 2025.

Hilda was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on October 5,1958 to Miguel Cruz and Felicita Rivera.

She attended Kennett High School and was a devoted employee at Pocopson Home in West Chester Pa for 30 years. Hilda was a loving, caring, kind and beautiful woman that had a smile that could light up the room; she loved to dance, watch lifetime, eat at Applebee’s and was an amazing cook. She had a way of making those around her laugh and feel loved. Hilda was a phenomenal mother and grandmother, two roles she cherished most!

Hilda is survived by her daughter, Iris Cruz of Delaware; Son, Kenny Gonzalez of Pennsylvania; Daughter, Emily Gonzalez of Pennsylvania; Long life partner, Elias Cortes of Pennsylvania; Stepdaughter, Vanessa Cortes of Pennsylvania; Stepson, Anthony Cortes of Pennsylvania. Grandchildren, Ashley Cruz, Miguel Gonzalez, Jazmine Webster, Julian Cruz, Nathan Gonzalez, Briana Ruff, Chase Gonzalez, Julianna Ruff, Brody Gonzalez, Natalia Ruff, Ryan Gonzalez and Michael Ruff Bonus grandchildren Ariana Meyers, Aliyah Meyers, Steven Meyers, Nelson, Angelina, and Noah Cortes, 4 great grandchildren, Siblings Manuel, Margarita, Teresa, Jose, Geraldo, Susie, Sandy, Charlie, Ramon, Juan, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday August 6th from 10:00am to 12:00pm followed by prayer services at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 West State St. Kennett Square, PA 19348. Burial will take place following her services at Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square, PA.
