James Roy Badger, age 79, of Milton, DE, passed away on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017 after a long illness. He was the husband of Patricia Badger, with whom he shared 34 loving years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late James Donald and the late Edna (Sheets) Badger. James attended and graduated from University of Delaware, where he received a Bachelors of Psychology. He then went on to work in the technology industry as a buyer for Hewlett Packard. He eventually retired from Agilent Technologies.
When James wasnt working he loved painting watercolors, boating and fishing in the Delaware Bay, spending time with family and friends,and traveling the country. He also enjoyed tinkering with items and always said, I can fix that!
Amidst all the memories, his family and friends will always remember hisgood sense of humor, the great amount of patience he had, his laid back demeanor and that he was always the life of the party!
Along with his wife, Patricia, James is survived by his children, James M. Badger (Donna), Dawn Harris (Ric), Jeffrey Lewis (Amy), and Andrew Lewis, and was predeceased by his daughter, Wendy Shaw; he is survived by his sisters, Dot Bove and Betty Kessler and was predeceased by his brother, Bob Badger;he is also survived by hisgrandchildren, Nicole and James Badger, Richard and Mackenzi Harris, Craig, Candice, and Michael Shaw, DJ and Sarah Lewis, Paul and Samantha Lewis, Angela and Lauren Stotz, Mackenzie and Christina Szymanski; his three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
You are invited to visit with Jamess friends and family from 10-11am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11am. The interment, following the funeral service, will be at Longwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Jamess name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
