Jean A. Mitchell

Jean Mitchell, 89, of West Grove passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

Born in Tamaqua, Pa. she was the daughter of late Anna and Robert Lang. She was the wife of the late Theodore Mitchell with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. 

Jean was employed by the Avon Grove Middle School and worked on the cafeteria staff for 23 years.

She enjoyed Cooking, Crafting, Bird Watching, Gardening, Country Line Dancing, Shopping, and having lunch with her friends. She also enjoyed the Kennett Square and West Grove Senior Centers, her Card Club friends, and watching her favorite show "Everybody Loves Raymond". She especially loved her dogs Ginger, Baby and of course Bailey. She loved Family Reunions and Get-togethers, and her family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert Mitchell and Theodore Mitchell (Kelly); Brother in law Thomas Mitchell and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
