John Morgan Francart, age 73 of New London, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday August 1, 2025.
Born in 1951 in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late Col. Armand B Francart Sr. and Clara E (Brown) Francart. John grew up with his two siblings, twin brother James and oldest brother Armand Jr.; they lived in several different states/countries throughout their lives due to their father's military career.
John graduated from Octorara High School in 1969 and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Union College in Kentucky. He was a dedicated, respected, hard working man and was employed by the United States Postal Service for over 44 years.
John enjoyed metal detecting, playing horseshoes, fishing, and watching the Phillies and Eagles. He was a real history buff and avid collector. John loved to spend time with his family, especially going out to eat. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Masonic Lodge of New London for many years.
John is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Diann (Moore) Francart. His son Justin Francart; daughter Kristin (Francart) Adams, wife of Matt Adams; as well as grandchildren that he loved dearly. John was preceded in death by his parents and niece Amanda Francart.
John will be missed by all who knew him, especially his storytelling.
You are invited to visit with family and friends from 10:00-11:00am on Monday, August 11th,2025 at Foulk Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road West Grove, PA 19390. A Masonic Service will be held 10:45 am by New London Lodge #545 F&AM. Interment will follow at New London Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
