Larry Eugene Seever of Unionville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024. He was 91 years old. Larry was born in Rushville, Missouri, the son of Terrell and Essie (Helton) Seever.
Larry served proudly in the US Navy as a navigation Quartermaster aboard the cruiser USS Worcester, during the Korean War. He later earned an Associates Degree in Engineering from St. Joseph Junior College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. This led him to a 37-year career with Dupont, where he had many accomplishments in high performance films, electronics, and the development of composite structures for military aircraft. He was a parishioner of Unionville Presbyterian Church and enjoyed working at Longwood Gardens and traveling around the world with his wife in his retirement.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of almost 60 years, Donna Neal Seever, his two sons, Robert and Matthew, and his daughter-in-law Lisa. He adored being a proud grandpa to Matt and Lisa’s children, Brett and Ava.
You are invited to visit with Larry’s family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Unionville Presbyterian Church, 815 Wollaston Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
