Laura E. (Wentzel) Harrison

Laura E. Harrison, 85 of Kennett Square, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday May 3, 2025. She was the wife of the late Carson N. Harrison with whom she shared 38 years of marriage before his passing in 1997. 

Born October 1, 1939 in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Quinn) Wentzel. 

Laura graduated from Kennett High School in 1957. She worked for KCSD as a custodian for many years then after worked for Kendal Crossland as a CNA until she retired in 2005. 

Laura loved taking care of her dog Sparky but what she especially loved, more than anything, was being able to spend time with her two great granddaughters. 

Laura is survived by her daughter, Terry Barker of Kennett Square. One granddaughter, Candice Barker of York, Pa and two great granddaughters Lauren Barker of York, PA and McKenna Reinwald of Ocala, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John G. Wentzel and two sisters Anna “Becky” Hall and Mary V. Wentzel. 

Interment will be private.
