Linda B. Shepherd, age 79 of Landenberg, PA, died Friday, December 5, 2025 and will be deeply missed. Born 1946 in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bessie Gamble and the late Leodis Gamble. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Shepherd, and sister, Joyce Stone.
Linda is survived by her loving son, Brian Shepherd (Debi) and grandson Jarrett Shepherd (Allison); stepdaughter Ruth Ann Gears (Bob); stepson Mark Shepherd; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Linda was a beloved mother/mom mom known for her spunky comments and gentle kindness to those that knew her. She was well known for being a hairdresser in the community and being the “Queen Bee”. She enjoyed making memories with her family and friends every chance she had.
Her passion was being an avid “Gone with the Wind” fan and being a grandmother. Her achievements include being a local track star, prom queen and homecoming queen at her local high school. Later in life, she became an avid fan of anything fast with 2 or 4 wheels and outperforming the men.
A viewing will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 10am to 11am at Foulk Funeral Home of West Grove, PA, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, PA 19390 followed by a service in celebration at 11am. Burial will follow in Kemblesville UM Church Cemetery at 1772 New London Road, Kemblesville, PA 19347.
