Margaret T. Dillon Markel, age 97 of West Grove, Pa, died Wednesday, December 13th, 2017. She was the wife of Robert H. Markel, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. She was born in New Garden, Pa, the daughter of Margaret and Martin P. Dillon, Sr. Margaret was predeceased by one sister, Mary OConnell and three brothers, Edward, Martin and James Dillon.

Margaret was a Registered Nurse working for Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children for several years and was also a member of Assumption BVM Church in West Grove, Pa.

She is survived by one son, Robert T. Markel of Boston, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Robert J. Markel of San Francisco, California and Katherine C. Swift of Fairfield, Connecticut; as well as four great grandchildren, Eliza of California and Clark, Margaret and John Swift of Fairfield, Connecticut.

You are invited to join Margarets family and friends for a viewing at 12:30pm on Saturday, December 16th, at Assumption BVM Church in West Grove, Pa. A funeral mass will follow at 1:30pm. Interment will be held privately with family.
