Margaret Ann Zunino, our beloved Mother, grandmother, great grandmother and spouse of the late Joseph D. Zunino passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.

Born in Toughkenamon Pennsylvania, Margaret was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Everley.

Margaret was a member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church in Avondale, PA where she helped to clean the church and count the collections. She enjoyed spending many hours making beautiful palms of crosses and flowers for Easter and always loved bringing her family to the Church’s annual spaghetti dinner.

She also enjoyed cooking, making homemade pasta, ravioli and meatballs, also known for her Easter braids and Christmas pizzelles.
Margaret worked as a bookkeeper at the tax claims office of the Chester County Courthouse until retiring at age 61.
She loved spending time with her family and going to breakfast with her three sisters.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Zunino (2010); mother of Mario (Patricia), Robert (Patricia), and Joanne (Jeffrey) Marvel; grandmother of Stefani (Michael) Donald, Stephen (Kerrie), Michael, Phillip (Kelly), Megan, Jeffery (Nicole) Marvel, Lori Marvel; great grandmother of Jett Donald, Miles Donald, Layla Zunino, Dominic Zunino, Gabriella Zunino, Hunter Zunino; sister of Rosalind Giancola, Carolyn Everley, Barbara Edwards. She was predeceased by her sister Helen Hedrick.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9:30 to 10:45 on Thursday morning, December 16, 2021 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church, 8910 Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), Avondale, PA. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.
