Marian Johnson

Marian Johnson, age 99 of West Grove, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Marian was the wife of the late Lewis Johnson, her high school sweetheart, who predeceased her in 1988.

Marian was truly the matriarch of her family. She was heavily involved in her childrens lives and activities. She was the first to volunteer to lead the 4-H Club, Girl Scout and Cub Scout meetings that her kids attended.

Marian also enjoyed assisting at Jennersville Hospital, where she was a volunteer for over 40 years. Additionally, she was one of the very first members of the Jennersville Senior Circle and a long-time member of the Kennett Senior Center.

In her free time, Marian enjoyed crafting, gardening and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Marian was supportive, loving, kind and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Marian is survived by two sons, Thomas Johnson (Christine) and Frances M. Johnson (Sharon); her daughter, Nancy Graham; her daughter in law, Peggy Johnson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews; and of course her dog and cat, Maggie and Dusty.

In addition to her husband, Lewis, Marian was predeceased by three sons, James S. Eggy Johnson, Robert Johnson, and Timothy Johnson; her brother, Frances Patrick Moran; and her sister, Ann Fiore.

Services for Marian will be private.
