Miguel Nuñez Medina, de 90 años, residente de Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, falleció el martes 6 de enero del 2026, rodeado del amor de su familia. Fue el querido esposo de Margarita León Soria, quien le precedió en la muerte. Juntos compartieron una vida llena de amor, fuerza y una hermosa familia.
Nacido en Yuriria, Guanajuato, México, Miguel era hijo de Pedro Nuñez y Gracia Medina. Siempre llevó con orgullo sus raíces mexicanas y mantuvo a México cerca de su corazón durante toda su vida.
Miguel fue un hombre conocido por su fortaleza y su profundo amor por su familia. Trabajó incansablemente a lo largo de su vida y los valores con los que vivió se convirtieron en la base de las generaciones que le siguieron. Sus historias, sus tradiciones y su presencia tranquila seguirán viviendo en todos aquellos que lo conocieron y amaron.
Le sobreviven sus nueve hijos: Pedro Nuñez, Carlos Nuñez, Silvia Nuñez, José Carmen Nuñez, Guadalupe Nuñez, Juan Nuñez, Miguel Nuñez, Rosa Nuñez y María Nuñez. También deja un gran y amoroso legado de nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos, quienes siempre fueron motivo de orgullo y alegría para él.
Familiares y amigos están invitados a su velorio el 14 de enero del 2026, de 5:00 p.m. a 6:30 p.m., en la Iglesia parroquial de San Roque, ubicada en 313 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19348. La misa fúnebre comenzará a las 6:30 p.m.
Un segundo servicio y el sepelio se llevarán a cabo en México, honrando el deseo de Miguel de regresar a su tierra natal.
El recuerdo del Sr. Miguel vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes lo amaron. Que descanse en paz eterna, reunido con su amada esposa Margarita.

Miguel Nuñez Medina, age 90, from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the devoted husband of Margarita León Soria, who preceded him in death. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, strength, and family.
Born in Yuriria, Guanajuato, Mexico, Miguel was the son of Pedro Nuñez and Gracia Medina. He carried his heritage proudly and kept Mexico close to his heart throughout his life.
Miguel was a man known for his strength and deep love for his family. He worked tirelessly throughout his life, and the values he lived by laid the foundation for generations to come. His stories, traditions, and gentle presence will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his nine children: Pedro Nuñez, Carlos Nuñez, Silvia Nuñez, José Carmen Nuñez, Guadalupe Nuñez, Juan Nuñez, Miguel Nuñez, Rosa Nuñez, and María Nuñez. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy to him.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on January 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at St. Rocco Parish Church, 313 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19348. The funeral Mass will follow at 6:30 p.m.
A second service and burial will be held in Mexico, honoring Miguel’s wish to return to his homeland.
Miguel’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved wife Margarita.
