Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, and Friend

MYRTLE SMITH PALMER, age 94, of West Chester, Pa, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Twin Pines Health Care. She was the wife of James T. Palmer who passed away in 1983 and with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

Born in Unionville, PA, she was the daughter of the lateCharles and Catherine Hollis Smith.

She was a cafeteria manager for the Red Clay SchoolDistrict for many years .

Myrtle was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter, NAOMI No. 20, OES.

She enjoyedplaying Bingo and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son, Charles T. Palmer and his wife Sally of The Villages, FL.; three daughters, DeeDee Kretzschmar of West Chester, PA, Rene Sylvester of Kennett Square, PA, and Cathy Palmer-Warner and her husband Michael of Rehobeth, DE; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

You may visit with her family and friends from 11:00 to 12:00 on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA.
