Nancy Buffington Pitt, age 91, of Lancaster, PA, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 with family by her side.

Born in 1931 in Chadds Ford, PA, Nancy was the daughter of the late Thomas Buffington and Catherine (Talley) Buffington.

Nancy graduated from Kennett High School and shortly thereafter started a family. She worked various jobs and soon discovered her love for antiques. She became an antiques dealer and ultimately owned and operated her own antique shop for many years.

Nancy loved her family, friends, life, the casino, and of course, her milkshakes.

Nancy spent her last two years at a retirement community, where she made many friends and was loved by many. She looked forward to her dinners with friends, playing bingo with the gang, and attending the special events. She was always the life of the party.

Nancy is Survived by two daughters, Patricia (Keenen) Ottens and Penny (Pitt) Orner, and her 5 grandchildren, Kevin Ottens, Matthew Lievens, Courtney and Alex Pitt, and Ashley Orner.

Nancy was preceded in death by Husband, Houston Keenen, son, Edwin Keenen, Husband, Robert R.C. Pitt, and son, Robert Pitt.

You are invited to visit with Nancys family and friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Kuzo Funeral Home, 250 W State St, Kennett Square, PA 19348. A brief service will follow. Interment will be at Longwood Cemetery, 945 E. Baltimore Pk, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
