Nancy Jeanne (Boyle) Steel

Nancy Jeanne Steel, age 92 of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Pocopson Home.

She was the wife of the late Chandler M. Steel, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2021.

Born July 18, 1933, in Coatesville, PA, Nancy was the daughter of the late John H. Boyle and the late Jane Rebecca (Hoffman) Boyle.

Nancy graduated from S. Horace Scott High School in 1951. She later worked as a line worker at Pepperidge Farm.

She was a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Landenberg, PA.

Nancy enjoyed shopping, reading, crossword puzzles, and annual trips to Lewes, DE. Most of all, Nancy treasured spending time with her family. She will be truly missed and in our hearts forever.

Nancy is survived by her son, Greg (Mary Ann) McWilliams; her daughter, Pamela Taylor; grandchildren, Jared (Avey) & Jena McWilliams, Chad (Aimee), and Scott Taylor; great grandchildren, Cole, Hazel, Mila Taylor and Hayden McWilliams; stepsons, Larry (Carolyn) Steel and Steve Steel; and 6 step grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Boyle, and her son in law, Gary V. Taylor.

Interment was held privately.
